Dear Supporters,

I am excited to present this year's concert, Let the Strings Speak AMEN: from HYMNS to HIP HOP; using the vibrations of string instruments as the foundation for the music, adding dance and spoken word, stimulating all of your senses. The listener and observer are welcomed to a musical journey and a true celebration of African American culture.

This showcase is more than a concert; it is a vehicle for healing that utilizes a collaborative approach, bringing together local musicians and entertainers to an intergenerational audience at the iconic Langston Hughes Performing Arts Institute. Langston is a hub for Black arts and culture where Black brilliance is cultivated.

Ticket sales are available at varied levels using the "Pay What You Can Model" so that everyone can attend without financial barriers. In order to create a community event of this magnitude, we rely on sponsors, donors and advertisers like you for support. We serve the community, and we challenge you to support this endeavor. The Shoulders On Which We Stand is a simple way to give; 100 donors at $100 every year. I believe we can do it!

Please review our packet and let us know what stream of support best represents your level of giving. For questions or concerns, please contact Twanda Hill, 206.248.6072. Parents for Students Success is a 501c3 and our fiscal sponsor for donations. I am honored to continue to showcase local talent and provide an intergenerational experience for healing through music. Please join us!
